About an hour after the lesson was over, Sidney told me “I miss surfing”. So I guess we will have to do this again sometime.
We went back to one of the beaches we played at the first day, but this time it was low tide. And it was loooooow. We walked more than a half mile out before we got to the water. But got to see lots of little crabs, snails and other creatures in the shallows on our walk out there.
Riley has literally been friends with these girls since she was 2.
We were so glad that Sidney’s class got to see each other in person at least once this year, and meet their teacher, Mrs. Smith, not on a screen!
Mrs Kane was exactly the teacher Riley needed to have in a year like this. We are going to miss her quite a lot.
